Livestock processing

At The Steel Buffalo Butchery, we offer livestock processing for cows, pigs, sheep, and goats under both USDA and Custom processing options. Understanding the differences between these two types of processing is crucial for our customers: PLEASE NOTE: We have a Maximum Limit of 1800lbs for all Cow's.

  • USDA Processing: This option is essential for anyone who intends to sell meat at farmers markets, grocery stores, or restaurants. Processing under USDA standards ensures that the product meets rigorous safety and quality regulations, making it suitable for commercial sale.

  • Custom Processing: For individuals looking to process livestock for their families, we offer Custom Processing. This choice allows you to have your livestock processed according to your specifications without the need for USDA certification.

All of our cuts are vacuum sealed to ensure maximum freshness for you and your customers. This sealing process helps preserve the quality and flavor of the meat, for longer storage life in your freezer.

Whether you're a farmer looking to sell at a market or an individual processing meat for personal use, The Steel Buffalo Butchery is here to provide you with high-quality processing services tailored to your needs. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about our services, feel free to reach out!
