Livestock processing

USDA or Custom Processing

We process Cow, Pig, Sheep, & Goats under USDA or Custom processing.   Anyone who intends on selling at a farmers market, grocery store, or restaurant must process under USDA.   Individuals wanting to process livestock for their families,  can choose to fall under Custom Processing.   


All cuts are vacuum sealed to ensure freshness for your family and customers. 

Scheduling

In order to be placed on the schedule,  you must first make an appointment by filling out the above appointment request form.  Once your request is received, you will be sent a processing date along with a link for payment of your deposit.  Your deposit is credited to your final processing cost and is equal to the kill fee.    If you cancel your appointment,  do not show on your scheduled date,  or do not bring the animal the deposit was paid for,  this deposit is not refundable. 


We will be processing this year through the month of September.  We stop processing livestock through Deer Season. 

Preparing for your Slaughter date:

  1. Please plan on arriving between 8am-9am on your scheduled date.  If you arrive before 8am, we cannot guarantee that someone will be there to assist. 
  2. Please download your forms and have them completed before you arrive. 
  3. For customers bringing multiple animals,  ALL forms must be completed before you leave.  We will not accept an animal without a completed form/cutsheet. 
  4. ALL Farmers must pick up and pay for their processed order.

USDA Kill Fee

$80.00+ Hanging Weight x $1.25

 

CUSTOM Kill Fee

$60.00+ Hanging Weight x $1.00 per lb.
